The Society has ornaments for sale celebrating the 175th Anniversary of Logan County.  The ornament is in the outline of Logan County and each of the towns is labeled within the outline.  Cost is $17.50 each.  A limited number of ornaments was ordered, so please don’t wait until they’re all sold before coming in to buy yours. Christmas is around the corner.

5 Nov., 2014 Herald News: The Abraham Lincoln Statue Committee will be
concluding the final fundraising activity on Saturday, Nov. 8, 2014. A drawing will be
held at 3 pm at National-Rent-to-Own. Tickets will be on sale until 12 noon on Saturday,
and may be purchased by calling Wanda Lee Rohlfs at (217) 735-2057 or JoAnne Marlin at
(217) 828-0650. You do not need to be present to win - you will be contacted about picking

up this beautiful mini carousel horse named after Mr. Abraham Lincoln’s horse, Old Bob.

a church and gathering place for almost 150 years.
